Excellent variety of remixes by producers like Majik Boys, Razor N Guido, Gustavo Scorpio & Stingray 360, all in a House to Progressive House style, running between 128 to 134 bpm. The Legendary Junior Giscombe (“Mama Used To Say”) has taken on the cause of Domestic Violence in his new video “Stand Up And Glow.” A cause that is particularly pertinent in today’s society with all the suicides as of late secondary to bullying. Statistics say behavior is learned at home and children copy what they see. The “Stand Up And Glow” video is an important one that should be shown in today’s society and depicts the reality of Domestic Violence. Junior does not sugar coat the issue as so many artists do. The video is real. There are no supermodels dancing around which increases it’s impact. A remix package of four of Sobel Nation’s finest will be forthcoming - Block & Crown, Julian Marsh, Joel Dickinson and presenting Billboard Artist and now remixer Carol Hahn. Reggae lovers you need to check out the album by Groundation, “Building An Ark” on VP Records. This is a very nice Reggae album with many songs that could be big hits for this group. I’ve had the opportunity to review the album & I think our crew of DJs are going to enjoy giving any one of the hits a spin in the clubs, parties & radio. I think it has a unique sound for a Reggae album, with more Electronic instrumentation & horns, which is not a bad thing by any means. With 10 different songs I can see hit potential for ALL of them.
